Dr. Loran attended Northwestern Health Sciences University in Minnesota, graduating with distinction and honours with a Doctorate in Chiropractic with a Sport and Rehabilitation Emphasis. Before attending chiropractic school, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Lethbridge. Dr. Loran sought out further training and certification throughout her Doctorate and integrates various interventions, such as Graston Technique, Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), Motion Palpation Institute and holds a certification for Foundations in Functional Acupuncture. While attending Chiropractic school, she worked with various patients in Minnesota, ranging from professional athletes to working at the Salvation Army House treating the homeless population. This allowed Dr. Loran to treat an expansive list of conditions and develop her clinical experience. Dr Loran’s approach to chiropractic care is patient-centred. She is passionate about listening to the patient and meeting them where they are to help them achieve their goals and get back to the life they want to live. Every body is different, so for her, each patient’s approach to care and treatment will reflect that. Outside of work, she enjoys spending lots of quality time with family. Dr. Loran stays active and adventures outdoors, and has enjoyed exploring her new home in Sylvan Lake.

Mitch has a diverse background in sports and healthcare, transitioning from competitive hockey to Olympic weightlifting before finding his passion in chiropractic care. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from the University of Calgary and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer West Chiropractic College. Additionally, he’s certified in acupuncture from McMaster University and holds certifications from the Motion Palpation Institute and as a DNS Certified Exercise Trainer. Mitch focuses on treating the whole person and empowering patients with knowledge for long-term wellness, whether they’re athletes or weekend warriors.
